Pflugerville Police Association - Combined Efforts Making a Difference
 



Reminders


  • Monthly meetings are held first Tuesday of every month, see calender for location.

  • Annual Dues are $20.00 for voting members and $5.00 for Spouses and non-voting members. (see downloadable forms for member form)

  • The Middle School dances that are held  by the Pflugerville Police Association are a great opportunity for the PPA  members to get involved in the community.  If you can volunteer your time please attend

Current PPA Programs


  • The PPA has a new program for the citizens of Pflugerville.  If you know someone that needs home repairs or yard main, etc and they can not provide this for themselves such as elderly, disabled, single parent etc.  Please attend our meetings and advise us of the situation.  We might possible be able to assist a family in need.

  • The PPA has become a part of the Pflugerville "Adopt a Trail" program, and has adopted part of the hike and bike trail surrounding Lake Pflugerville.  The dates for clean up of the trail will be posted at a later time, but don't wait, let us know you want to help.

Members Making a Difference

 

  • We would like to give appreciation to Oscar Lopez and Stacy Pyle for their participation in the Pflugerville Pfun Walk On Saturday Feb 2, 2008.  Thanks to them the participated in a city wide event and showed our support to the citizens and city departments.  They handed out iced down bottles of water and passed out 911 items to the kids thanks to Mike Clowdus :)  This is important due to the fact that one day we may need the support of our community and if we show this we have a greater chance of getting this in return.  This is a win - win situation.  Hope to see more for Arbor Day Saturday Feb 9, 2008  from 9AM to 12PM @ Heritage Park, there will be three sites to plant at.

Upcoming Events

 

  • It's once again time to start planning to attend the PPA annual golf tournament.  If your interested in playing, now is the time to  begin getting your four person teams together.  What a great way to show your support. For more information click here. 

  • If you missed the last meeting, then it's really important that you attend the April 1st meeting.  The PPA is taking a huge step forward with the Civil Service issue and everyone, for or against needs to attend.  If you want a say in the departments future then show up and be heard!
